Organic products can turn bad faster since they don’t have the strong synthetic preservatives, though not right away. But since they also tend to have the strong synthetic fragrances, they might not have that “flowery” smell generic cosmetics do.

Personally I didn’t find anything offensive about Physician’s Formula smell either.

Hello,
Glad to read so many positive comment about the organic wear Physician Formula, I just purchased it today and looking forward to try it tomorrow morning. I use for a long time EcoBella wich I liked but for lak of finding it in Canada, I did use Zuzu from Gabriel, wonder if the mascara turned bad sometimes, as the smell was really bad? If you think Organic wear smelly, well I thought it was good smell. Thanks for all your comment here., I am confident I will like it!

Sorry to hear that! I actually like the mascara, and my eyes are pretty sensitive…

And you are absolutely right about the “natural” claims. They are completely meaningless and unregulated. I actually discussed it in a post on organic skincare myths.

Hope you find a good organic mascara that works well for you and share the info with us!

This mascara really disappointed me.
It doesn’t irritate my eye in normal applications but if my eyes gets watery and it gets in my eyes…it’s not only irritating…IT BURNS!!! It feels like lemons in my eye!! And this happens if I am watching a sad movie, yawn, go swimming, or am even taking a shower.

Given that the performance is only good and not great its not really worth it for me.

As a side note I have been trying to be organic and natural with makeup. But “natural” doesn’t mean its good for you!!
Lead and Mercury are both “natural” products but they are definitely not good for you!!!

I like using different brands of mascara some brands are better than others however “some mascaras are not created equal”.
For me I like to use mascara that are as natural and chemical free as possible. I will defiantly try Physician’s Organic Mascara. I will say that the tube is very “eye catching” nice job.

I thought it smudged very easily throughout the day!
If you cry while wearing this mascara, it feels like someone threw acid in your eyes!!!
Very painful for quite a few minutes after crying!!
