I stumbled across your review when i was looking for justification that the MiEssence Moisturiser was the best ever in terms of ingredients etc (Natural Skincare Authority - it spams me TT).

I had dismissed the Pai brand as a bit odd as the webpage on combination skin care talks about moisturiser only in the morning and to avoid foaming face washes [the latter i have tried - still too early to say]

But after this review and the trial method (£3.50 for samples and no delivery!! - the only one i have found actually), i am willing to try this out after the decleor samples - cleansing milk in particular.

So, thank you for the background information. 2007 is quite recent!

Hi Cadie.

I haven't seen it in stores around where I live, but I have seen it on some other web stores, like lovelula.com. You could always write to them and ask. They are relatively new company, so they are probably just growing their distribution right now.

I have dry and sensitive skin. I have tried lots of sensitive products with poor results. This is a brilliant product though, it feels lovely and warm going onto my skin, sinks in and leaves my face feeling beautifully soft and smooth all day. Plus the products are a fair price and the packaging and customer service are both good! My advice, get this!

A lotion's main purpose, usually, is to moisturize the skin. The serum (usually) is more lightweight and quicker absorbing. It is meant to nourish -- deliver whatever beneficial ingredient it claims to have into the skin. Serums tend to be highly concentrated. You only need a little bit to get the effect.

But of course, these are all “in general”. Manufacturers like to prove that their products are different from others, so be sure to read the directions on their packages :)
