Bee: my skin goes through stages. In some weather (and during some times of the month ;) ) it's more flaky than normal. So generally I use oatmeal whenever I see some flakes. For that I see results right away. When my skin is normal I do it about once a week.

You can do it every day. It's quite gentle. Once in the morning is enough.

Hey! Thanks for the reply! I was also wondering, how long have you been using the oatmeal and do you still use it? How long does it take to see results? How many times a day do you wash your face with it?

Bee -- they can. I put a little container and catch the major chunks. I also wipe it off carefully with a napkin. If you're not carefull, you can end up with a whole bathroom covered in oatmeal :)

Stumbled upon your site and I was wondering, do the oat meals clog your sink?

Sometimes the best skin care product is the simplest...I'm totally going to try this. I recently started using vitamin E oil around my eyes at night and I think it works just as well (if not better) than expensive creams!
