I am 43 and have very sensitive skin. Red ,blotchy uneven. Sounds beautiful huh. Well I am looking for something to help with the redness and give my aging skin a boost maybe even a glow. So I went to whole foods and spoke with a Jurlique rep. she didn't try to sell me a bunch of stuff only a few items she thought I would benefit from. That was refreshing. So I will start my jurilique adventure today and report back.

hello...
I read your blog all the time, I find it very interesting. I work for Jurlique, and I promise I am not speaking becuse I have an afiliation with the company. I speak also as a life time addict:) At first I was also alittle confused on what the company said and what our boxes read. But there is a reason why our boxes say Alcohol, instead of fremented sugar cane (which is our source), and you stated it above, we have to list the dictionary name for the ingredients. This is because our products aren't made in the USA. They come straight from our farms. While somethings do carry PEGs, they are completely natural, which all derive from veggy oils and coconut oils!

Thanx!

Jurlique have been treading a slippery line a bit. They do claim their ingredients are organic and biodynamic, but they have added some synthetics in the past. They are not certified by anyone. And organic claim on it's own (or "natural" doesn't mean much).
On the plus side, they do use organic and biodinymic ingredients (does say so on my package...), and their farms are certified organic/biodynamic. They just need to work on not adding synthetics as well...

I am confused reading the review on the Julique range because although they claim that the ingredients are organic/biodynamic it does not say this on the ingredients label (the only legal bit) it anyone else concerned/confused about these inconsistences?

sylvia:
It does good a good indication though. If you don't like it right away, then you know not to buy it for sure. But if it feels good the first trial week, then it's worth investing in the purchase. While that first bottle lasts you'll have plenty of time to figure out how it's working for you... Though in my experience one week is usually enough to assess if something is good for you or not...

PS: beware unrealistic expectations. If you use an anti-wrinkle cream and after a few years get wrinkles anyways -- well, that's just you getting older :) And if you've been using something a long time and then suddenly start seeing results, something else is probably responsible. (In my case it's often a change in diet.)
